Sunrise Development Group is the joint endeavor of two, second-generation Connecticut firms with over 100
years of construction and real estate development experience. The Managing Members, Robert Sachs of
North Branford’s Cherry Hill Construction, and Douglas Anderson of Anderson Wilcox Corporation in
Branford, have collectively built over 3,000 homes.

At Fieldstone Village they have assembled a team of active lifestyle community specialists to realize their
vision: a community of luxurious homes catering to the unique needs of today’s active adults. Project Manager,
Tom Schoonmaker, brings over 30 years of experience in new home construction, sales and construction
management, and has specialized in Active Adult Lifestyle communities for the last 10 years. Robert Braren,
AIA, LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Accredited Professional) is the on site
Architect who in collaboration with Joseph Bergin Architect, brings an inspired design style with a hands
on approach to the homes at Fieldstone Village.
